(Haaay, sarap!)."

Sonnet Starlight

on 0 comments Read Full Article

Sonnet Starlight is something I've been keeping for almost 5 years.

Raysan, Raysan, where is the midnight sun?
-- the fiery, golden sphere in Heaven...
Where do you think did the sun go and run?
I count the days -- there are only seven...

Raysan, Raysan, where is the noontime moon?
-- the shinning, silvery sphere up above...
And what do you think? Will it come back soon?
I yearn for the moon. I yearn for its love...

Raysan, Raysan, where are the twilight stars?
-- shimmering angels up in the sky...
Forget not all these -- for it is no farce.
Waiting under starless nights, I ask "Why?"

Lady Raysan, Dawnbringer, where are you?
My hope is fading, I need your smile, too...

by ShaneRadiant 2003

That's it! Most of the time you also need to give a smile to yourself and not just the people around us...
keep smiling!☺

Missing the game...

on 0 comments Read Full Article

Just recently, I realized that its been a while - maybe months - that we haven't played Dungeons & Dragons. I still remember back on my college years we used to play the game every Saturdays, our Dungeon Master, which is my sister's bf that time, now her husband used to sleep over in our house for us to have one adventure that will last for almost 5-7 hrs. Those were my thesis days, that after thesis consultation with the dungeon master, our adventure will follow.

We started from level 1 and as number of adventures passed, now we are on our 15th level on the class and organizations that we choose. A lot of unforgettable adventures, there are adventures that we almost died fighting - thank God there is this thing called expeditious retreat in the game. There are these times we ague whether we will be noble in helping others or we will just continue our journey and leave those in need but we end up being in an adventure helping or rescuing princess, friends other noble people of Waterdeep. My youngest brother even rolled different kind of charter before becoming who he is right now - Rashka "The Vampire Slayer", thanks to the Well of Transformation that allowed you to change some of the features of your character, sometimes even entire character. My sister, even become a NPC (non-playing character) since she gave birth our dear MRIX, which is now part of our party in replacement to her mother. hehehehe...

Oh well. Maybe I just missed playing the game, being in a different world, using different abilities that is an impossible abitily a human being can have - sometime you'd wish to have such ability. Exploring an inner persona that your charcter will brought you or maybe it's just that you see yourself in the charcter that you are playing.

I love Roswitha Rueher -my character- since the day it was created and mind you, I never change major features of my character since then - I tried joining different organizations to put a spice on my character but I end up going back to its original creation
- A Bard and Moonstar Agent. Dying was never in my vocabulary simply because I do not want to recreate another Roswitha - it wouldn't be different from the old one. Huh! Busy days had come and now I am missing the game, hopeful that we can play the game again before the end of this year, hopefully soonest if our time will permits.

'till our next adventure, always keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching to those stars. ☺

What does RAYSAN means:
got this from blog things

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic “Type A” personality.

You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in.
You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising.
You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.
You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

-- oh well, mostly are true...hehehehe

Closing Post

No, it's not what you think. This is not my last post on this blog, this is actually my closing post for the month - just for the month. hehehehe..:)

I don't know but I think this has been one of the busiest month for me this year. Probably because of my brother's wedding that we organized and in the last weeks before the wedding day made us so busy finalizing stuffs. After which had the chance to go out with my uncle from Bicol that officiated my brother's wedding, we often see him since he is assigned at Bicol for his Pastoral Service.

Another busy day of September is the one Sunday trip with my family, it was Metro Manila round trip meaning in a day we traveled 4 places - one after the other. We started our day around 9:30am, left the house going to Malacañang to attend Sunday mass. Drove to Max's in Quezon Ave to attend Jem's christening (daughter of ate's bestfriend), then visited tita Ed at her ravishing home sweet home at Cubao. Lastly, attended Ralph's (my cousin's son) 1st Brithday at Sta. Mesa and fetch my grandmother for there as well. Then travel back home and ended our day around 5:30 pm.

These had been an awesome month for me, maybe I simply missed going out with my family on Sundays. For some reason that I and my family understand, I am not able to be with them on Sunday's affairs. And I am truly happy that I was able to do it even for just two consecutive Sundays, maybe I just missed it so badly.

Here's some glimpse on the events that made my September an awesome month...

Kung Fu Panda late reaction...

I know this is so late for a Kung Fu Panda Fever, oh well that's life sometimes if its not yet the right time for you to know and learn things it doesn't happen...I didn't had a chance to watch this film on the big screen for the simple reason that I do not watch cartoonize movies in cinema...hehehe... Before I watched the movieI knew I would enjoy it, after hearing a lot of praises for the movie from my friends...and it turned out so well that I didn't just enjoy but also I was inspired by it.

Who Am I

It's almost a month since I last updated my blog, nothing so important just me wanted to share one beautiful song...I was watching a prime time show for amateur singers last night and heard one of them sang a song entitled "Who Am I". From the title itself I knew it was an inspirational song, so I listen while he was singing a part of the song. I was correct that it is indeed an inspirational song, right after hearing him singing the song I found myself in front of my desktop computer start searching for the song. I just love it!

Let me share to you the song & it's lyrics...ciao!

The Hunter Under the Sun

Whispered secrets of a forgotten age;
Hidden legends, lore, myths and tales of yore.
No past will remain untold by this sage:
With bardic voice echoing truth before.

Harpers, heralds, rangers, and even bards,
Speak of the truth seeker born on this day.
Hunters, raiders, finders, and even guards,
Talk of the half-elven who knows the Way.

Raysan, charismatic story-teller.
All bard: Moonstar in mind, Harper at heart.
Lo her profession: Illithid-hunter.
But know her creed, and know this from the start.

But a leader is irreplaceable.”

Reason, Season, Lifetime

on 0 comments Read Full Article

People always come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

..

When someone is in your life for a REASON,

it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty,

or to provide you with guidance and support,

to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually.

They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are.

They are there for the reason you need them to be.

...

Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time,

this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

...

Sometimes they die. Sometimes they just walk away.

Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

...

When people come into your life for a SEASON,

it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.

They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.

They may teach you something you have never done.

They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.

Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall,

the season eventually ends.

...

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;

those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.

Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway);

and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being part of my life.

It just came across my mind after celebrating L.A's birthday last Sunday. Seeing old friends again is just something that will surely make you reminisce the old days together. I just miss being with these people in the production floor - the call flow that is really hard to perfect, the ping for those who had an over lunch, awol, late and a lot more rules that had been violated, unstoppable queuing every night but most especially the people you work with that you started to consider as your friends.

Isang umaga ng maraming langgam...

Matapos ang mapaghimagsik na ulan
Mga langgam ay naglabasan
Kami’y nagulat
Nang sa aming mesa’y sila’y nagkalat

Agad kaming nabahala
Ayaw namin itong lumalala
Kagyat kami’y naglinis
Upang sila’y tumalilis

Aking nabatid
Mga nakaraang ulan ang nagbatid
Ngunit ako’y nagitla
Namangha at natulala
Nang siya’y humirit
Si langgam ay pinipilit
Na humanap ng pagkain
Sa panahong basa at ambunin

Ako tuloy ay nagtanong

Siya kaya’y langgam noon
O sadyang fan lang
Ni Lola Basyang.

The World Wide Web

Internet is a very useful tool for most of us – if not to all – especially to those who know how to really explore or use the World Wide Web. It’s quite awhile that I’ve had been dealing and grinning this world of internet because of the career I am venturing. I was not introduced fully to internet in my younger years and maybe many of us are still unaware what internet can give us, before I just use this tool in searching for research papers, assignment, emails and friendster – and maybe many of us look at it that way. Very little that we know, it is one of the most powerful tools that we all have and can be enjoyed. From being one of the easiest way to communicate to people now becoming more than just for emailing but also a place to be able to get what we need. You can find anything in the net right know, from getting your favorite songs, watching your favorite movies, answer to you research projects...hehehehe ...getting the latest in fashion clothing such as men’s and women’s clothing up to the smallest garments like men’s and women’s underwear. These are just little of the things that we get from these one of the most powerful tools in this generation – The World Wide Web (even Optimus Prime will agree with this, that's were he learned our language remember?)– but actually everything that we need might be just one click away from us. Us this tools wisely and you'll surely learn a lot on what it can do to your life. To end this, let me quote what my colleagues usually say when we are looking for something: “Google it! Everything is in there; it’s just a matter of searching it!”

Looking back at my previous post, I'm suppose to be at Galera by now with my friends but because of the not so good weather, we end up holding off our Galera getaway. We are all frustrated with what happened but then everyone just though of something that will make the frustration lighter like: rescheduling the getaway...hehehe... Anyways, it was frustrating yet fulfilling at the same time for me. If I were at Galera right at this moment I might be drinking an alcoholic beverage and having our girl discussion as planned and not writing this blog but those are all "ifs".. Despite of the postponed event I spent my Saturday differently my evening turned very fulfilling, I had the chance to share a bit of my research knowledge at our Patrician Meeting (An LOM Activity) by being one of the facilitators together with ate Rhea and ate Ning regarding on one of Christian's norm - The Sign of the Cross.

And to end this post let me share some about the topic:

Sign of the Cross is a norm (most Christians look at it that way) for all Christian, there are different ways on doing it and each way has it's on meaning or it symbolizes something. The act itself is a Christian way of say "God is with me or God is in me", it's our way of confessing our faith by carrying our own cross and following God. A very simple act yet very meaningful and a sacramental act - yes it is sacramental just like baptism, there is more on this than just a norm - by doing the sign of the cross is another way of saying "I am your soldier and this is my weapon" and in the end it's always how you do it with FAITH.

Had you ever felt the feeling of emptiness in the middle of a life almost perfect? When everything seems to be doing well, nothing but laughter is what people can see from you. And there people who envy the life that you have and wished to be in your position. But then, when your alone and try to look deeper into your heart you feel an emptiness that in your heart. Life’s what if…

on 1 comments Read Full Article

There are a lot of what if’s in this life we live. It was just so funny when people try to bring back these “what ifs” that you had in the past, the things that you already forgotten or should I say you tried to forget. The answer you were looking long before for but because of time you tend to let go and just keep it unanswered, but what if one day you have given a chance to find that answer – what would you feel? The thing that you tried to forget after all is now right into your face waiting. Will you go and answer the “what if” or will you just keep it unanswered?

As for me, I don’t know…I’ll just cross the bridge when I get there…

Lenten Season: most of the catholic - if not all - are commemorating the time that Jesus died for us. Some take this day an opportunity to have a more intimate time with God, some just let it pass by and enjoy the long weekend that they have, but what ever plan you make every Lenten season, the important thing is that you were able to to offer a part of your life to Him.

I am so blessed being in a family and as part of an organization that let me stay close to Him in every aspect of this life I am living. He's a Friend, a Savior, and a God!

Godbless!

So I was with my friend majo taking a stolen picture of Bianca and Jon, when somebody approaches us and said we could have a picture with the celebrities by buying a box of Lipton Milk Tea and obviously we did buy one. hehehe…

Grass Fragrance

I took a simple personality test and here's the result:

Character Analysis: Grass-Fragrance Type:

“You have very strong will, not dependent on others and give an impression of being a lone-ranger. You are extremely curious and sensual, living a clear-headed, modern life. At first glance you place yourself on a pedestal, and are difficult to get along. But once others talk to you, they know you are easygoing. And when the relationship develops, they realize you are affable. You have an androgynous charm, which makes you popular with all genders. But you don’t like your weak side to be seen. You might look cool on the surface, but beneath it all, you are really passionate. Only people who know your true self can maintain a long-lasting relationship with you.”

Roots of Evil Campaign

After two more adventures, finally we were able to finish the campaign "Roots of Evil".

The adventure happened by finding azalin at his crypt, to get the symbol of the sun and bring it back to the Castle Ravnloft. We travel with Anebroun is with us and asking us that we gave him the Azalin's phylactery for him to keep. Until, we were sure that Azalin is at the place we did let Anebroun keep the phylactery .We were able to see and talk to him and made some arrangement on how we can make things right...(we finished are mission by the way, we are now holding the symbol of the sun as we promised) but we plan to go back in the time when strahd gave his life to the evil (Inajira). we are hoping we could make something not to continue the exchange between the two and Azalin is willing to help us accomplish that mission...

And so Azalin make an spell, that will let our spirit go to the bodies that are present during the exchange. Unluckily we are, our spirit when to the bodies of the simple soldiers outside the place. So we had to sneak in to be able to enter the place where the exchange will happen. By the time one of us entered the place Strahd was abou to sign on Inajira's Book. Fortunate enough that Raskha was able to sneak and shout the word: "Arcanalothatum" and Inajira cried in anguish "you step me up Strahd, I won't be able to go back to my home. The soldiers begun to attack us and Strahd was able to run and keep inajira's book... From the three bodies that we held only one of the was alive but before we realize that, we woke-up from where we really are - at Azalin's Crypt. We see nothing but an empty place and a thrown that has skeleton sitting on it.

We travel going back to ravenloft's castle to return the symbol of the sun at the chapel. It was again a very dark place - same when we first visit the place where Strahd was hiding. Upon putting the symbol of the sun at the altar it seems nothing happened - it didn't made a difference and so we felt that there is something wrong. We then decided to look at the Strahd room to see if he was dead or he still became a vampire. On our way there, we heard stradh talking and asking that we give him the symbol. We ask Strahd to come out but Anebroun was the one that talk to us - asking for the symbol. We defeated Anebroun - as we thought - by letting the one part of the castle fell into her. We run to find the book and be able to combined the two to finally complete the mission. We have to find Inajira's book so we planned to started looking at it by going to Strahd's room. On the way to the room undead creature surprised us and made a deal form us - he'll bring us the book in trade of constitution points. Rashka made a heroic act in giving his constitution to bring back the undead creature's soul.

Right after getting the Book - Anebroun, Azalin, Strahd and Inajira arrived. Inajira was holding the queen, and they all trying to get the book and symbol from us. Anebroun had another plan. She held a gem aloft in her hand, and it glowed brilliantly. "Trying to steal my soul?" Inijira laughed, "Unfortunately for you, I don't have a soul to steal but you do!" Anebroun screamed and the phylactery dropped from her hand as her own life was pulled into the gem. Inijira crushed the gem in his hand. We had the time to put the book and symbol together, when Azalin and Strahd will try to stop as but Inijira turned toward Strahd and Azalin. "If I can't go home," he said grimly, "then no one does. And we where able to save Ravenloft. Rashka had to teleport us so that we won't be joining the three at the shadow prisons, we just landed to the true Barovia.

And so this campaign ended in success.
'Til our next mission adventurer's.the true persona behind the party.

DnD Philippines

Just this week there was a group of people from one of the most popular social networking in the country, they invited me to join their group "DnD Philippines". A group of Filipinos that plays and love the game. They describe it as "the first and truest form of RPG", which is really true. It is the old school type of the very popular online games like ragnarok and dota.

Knowing this people who is really into DnD made me more inspired doing more adventure with our party. Since the first time I played the game I was hooked with it, I don't know why its just that every time I play the game it seems that another ME is coming into it. The skills I am using and the way I handle every encounter is the most exciting part of the game. But of course to those who knew how to play the game "rolling the dice" gives true life in every encounter.

wwaaahhhh... I never thought I'll be loving this kind of game but yeah I do, it started almost four years ago and up to now I'm still in love with it. From level 1 - a lot of different encounters, a lot of different people we've meet and new teammates that are joining the party now we are level fourteen and soon enough our character will be retiring. Sad but every character has their time of resting and just enjoying the level they gained after a long-years of encounter.

Lets meet our party - from the Waterdeep of Forgotten Realms... here are the Shards of Selune.

Left to right: Rokus, Raven, Rhoswen, Roswitha, Raskha and Rival
I don't have a picture of their true identity, I'll make that my next mission...

2007 was one of the best years of my life... A lot of thing happened both good and bad, but everything made me, who I am right now! I resigned from my first job last march.. oohhh..I missed the people I used to work with. Got new job and gained new friends and new officemates a month after. I did quite a lot of travel and celebration in this year. I was able to visit Puerto Galera last May and enjoy the beach with my family. We met some AIG BPSI people (kuya john’s friends) at Galera thanks to them because if they didn’t plan their team building we wouldn’t be at Galera. Then last July, we honor the Death Anniversary of my grandfather at Bicol at the same time visited my grandmother and some aunties and cousin as well. Together with the fact that it was a mini reunion with our clan. Celebrated our little angel’s 1st birthday (MRIX) last September, he’s a little big boy now…so cuuuttteee… October, we enjoyed the beauty of one of the Philippines’ paradise – Boracay. It was a team building planned by our Team and it turned out I went there with my entire family to visit my brother who work there and to enjoy the beauty of this paradise...I so love beach!!

And there are a lot of fun and excitement happened this year, meeting and seeing again old friends made me really happy. Feeling hurt with some actions made by the people I love and waking up feeling that this people just stop loving you. All this things are the highlights of my life last year but most especially the fact that I had all this blessing made me closer to the one gave me this – GOD!

- Thank you for the gift of love, wisdom and strength… Thank you for making me feel blessed as always!!!

Welcome 2008!!!
